High School Curriculum
Grades 9-10
We provide a strong academic foundation while preparing students for board examinations and future academic pathways. The curriculum includes core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Social Science, along with Artificial Intelligence, Physical Education and Life Skills. Emphasis is placed on conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, problem-solving and application-based learning. A structured teaching approach supported by regular assessments, practical work, projects and exam-oriented preparation equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence required for academic excellence and holistic development.
High School Teaching Methodology
Encouraged to think Independently
Students are gradually encouraged to think independently, analyse information, and form logical conclusions.
Experienced Subject Experts
Clearly defined subjects with expert-led teaching in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography and Civics and Languages for enhanced academic depth.
Experiential & Inquiry-Based Learning
Focus is now more on experiments, projects, case studies, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning, aligning with NEP’s experiential learning mandate.
Focus on Conceptual & Competency-Based Learning
Strong emphasis on conceptual clarity, application of knowledge, and competency-based education, as reflected in CBSE assessments.
Continuous and Comprehensive Assessments
They are both formative and summative
methods. Students are evaluated through periodic tests, projects, practical work, subject
enrichment activities, portfolios, quizzes, presentations, and class participation.
Greater
emphasis is placed on competency-based questions that test critical thinking, problem-solving,
and real-life application of concepts rather than memorization.
High School Co-curricular Areas
Community Outreach Programme
Our Community Outreach Programme empowers High School students to become socially responsible and compassionate citizens. Through activities such as cleanliness drives, environmental initiatives, visits to old-age homes and orphanages, awareness campaigns, teaching support and social service projects, students develop empathy, leadership and a sense of civic duty.
