Inclusive Education Curriculum
Special Education embodies the North Hill International School's spirit of inclusiveness. The learning centre appreciates the differences in learning and abilities of children in a mainstream school set-up. Special Education welcomes children who have received differential (clinical) diagnosis, challenges and empowers them with ability appropriate curriculam. The teachers at Special Education are psychologists with a clinical psychology specialization. Equipped with boundless enthusiasm and unbridled creativity, they work on systematically introducing and realigning the child's ability, teaching methodology and expected performance. The teachers are supervised by a collective team of psychologists with over a decade plus experience in school-education context and senior teachers at NHIS who provide the crucial pedagogical inputs.
The team of Special Education believes in and delivers a holistic education and considers parents as partners in the child's educational journey. Parents play an active role in their child's daily academic and routine activities. Every child's progress is documented and communicated on a daily and monthly basis to parents who also receive suggestions to reinforce work done at school. The team Special Education strives to bring to reality, the mission of providing an empowering educational experience alongside an enriching socializing experience of a mainstream school to every child.
